olivia_Crowd2x_Asama.jpeg

What's your vibration? Find your wavelength at Vibrate, where Singapore's underground DJs showcase a diverse selection of sounds alongside live musicians.

Miss Lil and Sivanesh set the scene with an exploration of acid jazz and psychedelic grooves. Then get picante with some gangster funk from Taaka and queen of New Orleans trombonist Eriko Murakami. Organic house duo Raja Rani bring the mystique of sonics from afar in their magical b2b. Mantravine will close out the night with an exhilarating Electro Swing show. With Jaymi McManus providing visual delights across this journey into sound, one thing is for sure, senses will be stimulated all night long.

This is a private party for our friends and their friends. $ 5 of each ticket gets donated to AWARE NGO which is Singapore’s leading women’s rights and gender-equality advocacy group.

There is an open jam session from 7 - 8 pm so feel free to bring your instruments along to join the open jam set

TAAKA

Gritty. Melodic. Funky. Words used to describe Taaka's unique sound, taking his audience on a journey through naughty tech vibes while not being afraid to dip a toe into other genres using diverse mixing to create an energy of its own. With a 9-year career originally as a mainstay at Sydney's most notorious club nights, supporting multiple international acts (such as Chris Lake, Dom Dolla, Artbat & Mason Maynard to name a few), Taaka moved to Singapore and founded YES YOU - a movement focused on booty-shaking house music, all-inclusive vibes and supporting meaningful causes. He's also featured on lineups like Potato Head, Kilo, Dave's Disco Brunch and Friendly Waters.
